This morning was the first morning where I went outside and wasn't blasted in the face by a wave of heat and humidity. It was actually a crisp and cool morning, with only a hint of humidity (it is Houston, after all). I took a walk outside and the only thing I could think about was all the fall clothes I am dying to wear. So I hope it stays cool long enough for me to bring out my fall wardrobe capsule pieces this year.

This seamless bodysuit from Abercrombie is so comfortable. The double layers are great for wearing this top with out anything underneath (if that's your thing), but can really get hot in summer. This jacket ranks in my top 5 favorite pieces of all time. There was 1 cold day in Houston last year when I wore it, other than that it's just been hanging in my clothing rack. I have this ruched dress in a rust color which is GREAT for fall - reminds exactly of the color of changing leaves in fall. It is a tight fit but the ruching is very flattering. I think it would pair well with any of the jackets above, so I love the versatility of this piece. This one can be found here in brown and green (light sage color).
